LEED certifies projects, not products

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a third party certification program for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED provides building owners and operators with tools to have a measurable impact on their buildings performance. LEED was developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a none-profit organization whose purpose is to promote sustainable design and construction.
